PRESS RELEASE – MMAP launches first two calls for proposals under the RO-Environment Program funded under the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 (EEA Grants)
On Wednesday, 16.09.2020, the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests, as Programme Operator for the EEA Grants 2014-2021, Programme “Environment, Adaptation to Climate Change and Ecosystems (RO-Environment)”, launched the first two calls for proposals of projects / applications.
1. Call for project proposals for “Restoration of wetlands and peatlands”, with an available budget of 3,550,000 Euros. The value of the grant requested per project is between 700,000 Euro – minimum value and 900,000 Euro – maximum value. Deadline for submission of proposals: January 15, 2021, 14:30
2. Call for proposals for applications under the “Fund for Bilateral Relations”. For this call, the available budget is 50,000 euros, with a non-reimbursable grant rate of 100% of the eligible costs. Proposals for bilateral initiatives will be evaluated in chronological order, depending on the date of registration, until the funds dedicated to this call are exhausted.
