The Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests, as Program Operator for EEA grants 2014-2021, following the request of potential applicants (namely Cluj-Napoca City Hall, Târgu Neamt City Hall and Falticeni City Hall) extended the deadline for submitting applications until May 30, 2022, 15.00 hours.
We make it known to you that:
1. How to develop the “study on making a comparative analysis between relocation and the alternative solution / innovative environmental friendly technology that results in the closure of temporary municipal waste deposits” is at the discretion of the applicant. Thus, it can be outsourced and carried out by a consulting firm or can be developed within the Territorial Administrative Unit.
2. Program Operator RO Mediu – Ministry of Environment, waters and forests encourages the implementation of projects in partnership with both partners from Romania and/or donor States (Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). It was mentioned in the guide that “at least one letter of intent will be submitted upon submission of the application.” In view of the above, it is recommended, but not as an eliminatory condition, to have a partnership in the implementation of the project. Potential partners from donor States can be contacted directly, either on the basis of previous collaboration, or you can use the databases located at the following address: https://eeagrantsmediu.ro/ro_ro/domeniile-programului/fondul-pentru-relatii-bilaterale/ section “bilateral relations”
