EN – Between 15-30 October 2020, the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests, acting as Programme Operator for the EEA Grants 2014-2021, the “Environment, Adaptation to Climate Change and Ecosystems” Programme (RO-Environment), financed by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021, informed all Project Promoters who applied in the programming period 2009-2014 (Programs RO02, RO04 and RO07) about the opportunities of the new programming period 2014-2021.
In order to identify potential applicants / partners to access the funds available under the Programme “Environment, Adaptation to Climate Change and Ecosystems” (RO-Environment) funded by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021, we are attaching 2 databases with applicants and their partners from the programming period 2009 – 2014 and the potential partners selected from the eeagrants database for the fields of activity of the RO-Environment Programme.

EN – The Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests, as the Programme Operator for the EEA Grants 2014-2021 – RO-Environment Programme, launches the first call for application proposals – “Fund for Bilateral Relations”, financed under the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014- 2021.
The total budget available for this call is 50,000 Euros.
Eligible beneficiaries: any public or private entity, commercial or non-commercial, as well as non-governmental organizations established as legal entities, either in the donor states (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein) or in the beneficiary state (Romania), that meets the conditions:
• it is registered as a legal entity in Romania or in one of the Donor States;
• it can carry out activities in the fields of interest of the RO-Environment Programme;
• it falls into one of the mentioned categories.
Deadline for submission of applications: until the the depletion of allocated funds. Proposals for bilateral initiatives will be evaluated in chronological order, depending on the date of registration, until depletion of the budget.
Types of eligible expenses, both for applicants from Romania as well as for those from Donor States: travel costs granted as a lump sum. Lump sums for travel include costs related to transport, accommodation and per diems (which include expenses related to meals, local transport, travel insurance, telephone calls, foreign exchange commissions, fare differences).
Applications are submitted:
• in Romanian and English – for applicants from Romania;
• in English – for applicants from Donor States.
The file with the application will be submitted electronically, scanned in pdf. format, up to 10MB size, at the e-mail address see2014-2021@mmediu.ro and in cc at daniela.covalinschi@mmediu.ro with the request for confirmation of receipt. All documents exceeding this dimension will be submitted using “wetransfer” application with the subject “funding application …. (Applicant’s name)”.
The date of submission of the application will be considered the date of confirmation of receipt with registration number from the Programme Operator. If the applicant does not receive the registration number, he has the obligation to contact the Programme Operator.
